Clarent is the result of my second set of attempts of casting wax in plaster molds. Completed in 2017 as part of an assignment in high school, it is the first large cast sculpture I have ever made. The piece's name comes from the decorative sword that the mythical King Arthur pulled from a stone to claim the throne, not to be confused with Excalibur, the sword given to him by the Lady of the Lake.
